   Charles E. Rassier, M.D.

Dr. Rassier joined The Eye Clinic NJ in 2007 and is dual fellowship trained in Refractive Surgery, Cornea & External Disease from The Weill Cornell Medical College as well as ophthalmic pathology for the Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins Hospital.  He completed his residency training from Nassau University Medical Center in ophthalmology and graduated from medical school at Temple University School of Medicine.  

 

Dr. Rassier is a Fellow in the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and a member of the Cornea Society, The American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons and the NJ State Ophthalmology Society.  He is a diplomat of the American Board of Ophthalmology.

 

In his free time, Dr. Rassier enjoys spending time at the Jersey Shore with his wife and 2 children.  He is an avid traveler and enjoys watersports and scuba diving.  When not spending time outdoors he often likes to relax watching a Marvel show or a Philadelphia Sports team on TV.  He is an epicurean and especially enjoys fine Portuguese Cuisine and a nice glass of Port wine. 

   Praneetha Raveendran, O.D.

Dr. Raveendran is an experienced optometrist who has been in clinical practice since 2014. She has expertise in diagnosing and treating numerous ocular and visual impairments. She is a graduate of UIW Rosenberg School of Optometry and has practiced throughout Texas and in her home town of Toronto, Canada. Her focus on patient care is evident in her comprehensive ocular examinations and her proactive approach to referrals when necessary. With great bedside manner and easy conversation, Dr. Raveendran has received many accolades for patient satisfaction throughout her career. 

 

After recently moving to New Jersey, Dr. Raveendran enjoys exploring with her husband and baby daughter; whether it be a ferry across the Hudson to the City, a nice long road trip, or getting lost in the nature of our own backyard. When she’s not trying out different recipes in the kitchen, she’s planning a trip abroad.
